I have been waiting for 4 months after handing submittiing my passports/RPRF/Meds. I am under the old rules.I understand that it takes upto 3 to 4 months for security clearance among other things. Is it adviceable at this point in time to apply for a CAIPS report?

*Should I exercise some more patience or just go on and get the CAIPS?

*Should I start writing case specific enquiries now or it might in some way cause some further delays?

Kindly provide your honest opinion. Thank you.

Which visa office? Maybe you can check out the trend in your visa office at www.trackitt.com.

Anyway, I believe 4 months is enough time to at least send a case-specific enquiry.

Please check the status using CIC website, track your status there and avoid unnecessary inquiry to visa office.
