Dear family, I have been waiting for the notice of hearing so that I can apply for a PR. It is been 3 months now and I didn't receive anything from the IRCC except the email I got from my lawyer. I also applied for the travel document in December but no response yet.

I am now worried that I might be exceeding the maximum period to apply for the PR. Any advice??

I'm based in Montreal, QC

There is no time period.

How did you apply for the travel document without attaching the notice of decision?

What document exactly did you receive from your lawyer?
If you're waiting to get anything from refugee board by mail, you won't.
Today i've contacted them reagarding a "stamped" notice of decision that YMCA was requesting in order to accept me to enroll at french classes, and I was told by them they are now only submitting a pdf by email and no stamp anymore.

There was never stamping for an NOD.

This " blue stamp" was mentioned by both Ymca coordinator, teacher and the two people from IRB with whom I spoke yesterday. And IRB told that are still notifying the institutions they are no longer stamping. I had to put my phone at loudspeaker so the ymca coordinator and teacher could hear the conversation and authorize me to enroll.

If this never existed, misteriously all the involved knew what they were talking about.

I just checked online and it's a certification of true copy.

Sorry had heard it referred to as stamping. It was essentially a certified copy of the NOD.
