I am a Convention Refugee in Canada. My partner's refugee claim is still pending and he has not yet had his hearing.(hearing will be coming up soon)
We are not common-law partners, but we have a daughter together and have decided to get married.
Would it be better to get married now and include him in my PR application, or should we wait for his refugee claim process to continue independently?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or received advice from an immigration lawyer on this?
