Hi Qorax,
I have same question as canadalver20111, how long CHC-ND can keep our passport?? i seen many cases they send passport back after 2-3 months...why its taking long time in my case....Plz answer my n Canadalover2011 question...

CHC-ND created a unique process in 2009, to ask for the meds+pps in one go, probably to cut the timeframe. It worked then & ppl got PRVs in a couple of months. However, with the MI2 - things got changed... besides some applicant's security clearances do take some addnl time... thus the current delay.

On my CAIPS notes it says:

Paper File sent to DS BF'D to KH on 10-05-2011

And May was TWO months ago!

Your file was originally assigned to a VO who's initial was DS but it will be opened by another VO named KH on 10th May 2011 which has of course been done.

Why, who can stop them for doing so? We r in the receiving end, remember?
In between if u desire u can always ask them to send the pps back -- but, it'd be returned unstamped, usually... asking u to resubmit them later@your convenience.

Only god knows why people are reacting this way to see their address removed from the Ecas.
CIC has not taken away the house you live in buddies. its the address only.

CIC has not taken away the house you live in buddies. its the address only.

i know what when we can see the address then we get the option to change the address...if they removed the addres then we will have difficulty to change the address if we want

I couldn't reply as I'm unsure of your situation.

1. With your timeline u should have recd the meds by now. In 4-6 months from 'in process' one should have it.
2. The VO many a times do not respond to 'same' queries... we need to be persistent.

whats your NOC?

I think they are clearing the PPR's first and then they'd look into the applicants who are into RbVO and IP( waiting for their MR) for over 3-4 years.

Hi Qorax
I want to ask one thing.. Now it’s more than 6 months I sent my passport and medical.
I been to UK in 2003 for my study. I sent UK NOC to CHC, I want to know, will CHC do background check in UK as well or not?
Plz also tell me why it’s taking long time to get visa? I seen many cases people get their Visa within 3-4 months after they sent their passport.
