Hello everyone!

I'm wondering how long can I delay sending my passport to Ottawa after I receive a PPR? I'm waiting for my PPR and also planning for a trip. May I know if I can send my passport, say, 1 month after I get my PPR?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same question. I wanna travel in June.

I've read in another forum that you have 60 days to submit.
Also I've read that if you inform CIC about your travels that it might be no problem to submit later. I think the best thing is to ask CIC in that case.

Are you also from a visa exempt country? I am wondering if one is allowed to travel once send the passport scans after ppr.

Thanks Steffi! I'm not from a visa-exempted country, so I guess I have to send the passport to CIC.
