Hi everyone,
I pass the citizenship test today but my wife didn’t unfortunately. What’s going to happen now for my application knowing that we applied as a family?

Thanks for your response.

They are two scenarios in here. Since she didn’t pass they will arrange her another time to writr it again. For you the will proceed with your application and you had a choice to tell CIC to pause your application and make it after your pass otherwise they will do it separate. Hope that help

In my experience, they will process the applications together, since you applied as a family. When your spouse will pass the test, you will get oath letter together. I have not known of any scenario in which one spouse is ahead (because of test, background checks etc.) and they get oath invite earlier.

It will be interesting to find out if they deal it separately.
