What happens if spouse cant do soft landing!

Hi, I recently got my CoPR and will have time till August to do a landing in Canada. I am the primary applicant and my wife is the co-applicant. Now due to some personal constraints, she can not travel to Canada before the visa expires, but I can. Since I have read that it is important to do a soft landing before the CoPR visa expires, what happens to my wife's PR in this case? Would i alone get PR and her PR would be rejected?

If yes, is there a workaround where we can delay her arrival to Canada but still retain pr. Thanks

If she doesn’t land before the expiry, the COPR becomes invalid. You would have to move to Canada and apply for spousal sponsorship once here. There is no work around.
