What does that means Decision Made?

Hello!

You need to wait patiently, presumably your medical result is not expiring soon. Normally, they send the letter by 2-3 weeks. But if medical result is expiring soon (within next 2 months, for example), you are likely to get email within a week after the decision is made.

passport request usually goes to PR applicant, it's that persons passport being requested. If the applicant gave an email address the request would prob go to that email address. It also go by mail, no strict rule either way.

ok thanks but after submitting our case i did not receive any single e mail from them but wife got gor decision made.

when I sponsored my wife I got an email telling me my sponsorship of her was approved. When they made a decision about her PR application she was notified by the E-cas on the website. Then she got an email from CIC asking for a copy of her Passport. She is a US citizen and they only want copies of US citizen passports. We never knew for sure she was approved for PR until she got the COPR forms in regular mail. That is how you find out approval Outland. If they don't approve you get a letter saying so probably and why. That could be by email, I don't know for sure.

Hey everyone,

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 3rd 2012.
2. Medical results received
3. We started processing your application on December 17th 2013.
4. Interview scheduled for December 16th 2013.

I am from a visa exempt country and I attended the interview, the officer also said I passed the interview. It's been over a month and my status still says "in process". What does all this mean? When can I expect to hear something? Thank you.

It looks like a lot of people got responses to the sponsor application really fast. We submitted our application March 20, 2013. We had no communication until last week when I received the email for the medical. My wife never received an email about her being approved and when I check ecas, it just says that the application is in process.

Is this maybe the difference between inland and outland (we're doing it inland)? Or was it just the bad luck of timing and the strike?
