Hello,

I am on PGWP and working full time, my employer is going to apply for LMIA.

But the problem is (don't know if it is a problem or not) when he posted the job on job bank for 2 months, they said only I had applied for the job.

So there is no canadian citizen or permanent resident (may be because of remote area/outside of city area).

My question: does this affect on LMIA process to get positive result ?

If it is, then what's the solution.

i suppose it should be OK as this job was there for almost 2 months and they got only one applicant.

i would suggest ask your employer to apply for LMIA. with all the proof showing the no of people applied.

what can we do if no one is willing to apply ;)
:P :P

That would be seen as a positive for you but....BUT....the job application for job ban MUST MUST still be online until you get the positive LMIA. Otherwise they will reject it when they return to your application in 3 months looking for proof that your employer tried to hire Canadians...
