Hello guys,

Great job helping people on their immigration questions. I have a quick question myself. I'm planning to apply for a WES ECA evaluation and have a confusion about my Bachelors transcripts from JNTUK. They are attested and signed by the registrar as needed but university gave no sealed/signed envelope along with them. I just received the signed and attested xerox copies as transcripts. Can I just enclose them in an envelope, seal them myself and send them over for the evaluation with the reference number added on it? Or should I be going back to the university asking for a sealed envelope? Could someone throw some light into my questions here? Thanks very much. Appreciate the help.

unfortunately not. WES is very strict about this requirement. it has to be sealed envelope with the univ stamp of the back flap or else it gets rejected. mine did. preferable not to risk it and get the documents in a sealed envelope. most univ are familiar with the WES process so if you havent mentioned your purpose for the documents to the univ, you should tell them so they know exactly whats needed.

I tried it with one of my client and it worked.

Visit your university and get the university envelope (you know which has the university name printed on it) from non-teaching or admin departmnet.

Close it and tape it. Ask anyone from University to stamp on back.

This worked for me.

Thank you! I’ll check with the university and get a sealed envelope.

Thank you. I’ll try that.
