We still waiting after RPRF request 3 months ago.
Wow, that's disappointing.
When did your file get transferred to Warsaw? Is it stuck in "Background check - In Progress" status?

My application was filed on the 29th of August, I recieved aor2 on the 17 of October and that was the last time I heard from the immigration. All payments, as well as medicals, were sent upfront.

I see. It looks like you're about 8 days ahead of us in terms of both filing the application and file transfer.
However, we only received the RPRF request on Dec 22.
Hope you hear from them soon.
BTW, when you paid RPRF, did you actually mail a copy of the receipt to both CPC-M and Warsaw, or just send it by email to the immigration section in Warsaw? We did the latter, and I wonder if it's still worth sending paper copies to both locations.

Unfortunately, it could be another 3 months or so before you hear from them, as some of the May applicants are still waiting currently.
We applied exactly 7 months ago today. ::)

Was hoping that sending all required documents upfront would make speed up the process. Anyway, we have to be patient.

We got request on 3rd and we paid on 4th October. We sent paper copies to both locations.

From e-mail:
"Once the payment has been made, the sponsor must send the receipt to the following address: CPC-Mississauga (Permanent Residence Fee Payment), P.O. Box 6100, Station A and a copy of receipt to our office."

I have got refused.
My husband got notice of appeal.

Great....

Don't know why probably they didn't believe we want to live in Canada as they asked for extra evidence in September which we have given what we could. Great. So that's it for us. I have to wait for letter saying why exactly.
We are devastated as we were planning and now I am really upset

Oh this sounds like my worst nightmare, I am so sorry to hear this! I have a hard time offering solid proof of this too.

I plan to move to Canada with my spouse and son 5 months into the process, I really hope this is allowed!! At least this will provide proof, but should be strange for them to continue processing as Outland when I am actually inland.

I would Hate to move and apppy and live even longer than a year in fear I might be refused again! We are really upset.

All in all comes down to " ... that your sponsor does not reside in Canada and didn't not so on the day on which the application was filed and from that day until the day a decision was made in respect to the application. According the does not meet requirements of subsection (1)(b) of the regulations. As a result you do. Or need the requirements of decision 120..."

Could they be more unclear...:/

We did apply Outland so we obviously live here until I am approved how could he go live there on his own without his wife obviously.... I don't get their way of thinking at all

Crayon, I'm so sorry you to hear this! I hope you get this sorted, and that in the end you get accepted!

My general question is: what seems to be the general time now for Warsaw? Is it 8-9 months, or closer to 10? I guess I'm just hoping it's not, like, 13 ;) The CIC website says 10 including SA, but it's a bit cagey about whether this means 10 months from December, or 10 months from submitting the app... I guess the latter? I looked at some of your timelines and it seems y'all who applied around late spring got your COPRs in about 8-9 months, am just wondering what the pattern seems to be: are they mostly closer to 10 months, or closer to 8?

And it's counted from the moment of filing the application, right? not from the file transfer? thanks!

It is counted from the day CIC first receives and acknowledges your app. Really confusing why some go so much quicker than others. I have seen 6-10 months with 8 being the most common.

Really sorry to hear this. From the email it almost sounds like they did not get your new information. Have you ordered the GCMS notes? You can either appeal or reapply. If your husband moves it would seem to eliminate their concerns. I know from our experience that while we were apart it seemed like an eternity but now looking back it feels like a blur.
Good luck

Thanks Sous! Haha I am doing some advanced mathematics here, my WP expires on Sept 1st 2017 and so I am hoping that my (hopefully, of course! and knock on wood they grant it :) ) COPR arrives before August 1st which would be when I need to apply for an extension, but it seems 10 months will be just precisely July/August, so it's really close (and I need to apply at least 30 days before the expiry in order to have implied status...) - hahaha, I'll just have to sit and wait to see what happens (I *do* hope all will be well...) :)

Btw, do you know what the deal with OHIP is (if you're in Ontario) for ppl who already have it due to WP after they get PR? Is the 3 month wait still there or not due to the fact that such a person already has health care?

Sorry I do not know about OHIP. Make sure you order GCMS notes every month so that you can anticipate any issues.
