Really sorry to hear this. From the email it almost sounds like they did not get your new information. Have you ordered the GCMS notes? You can either appeal or reapply. If your husband moves it would seem to eliminate their concerns. I know from our experience that while we were apart it seemed like an eternity but now looking back it feels like a blur.

I did not order notes as my husband would have to do it and didn't see point of stressing each other out waiting for them every month

Extra info was sent via courier signed for so they did have it apparently it's not enough for them but what can I give them as proof obviously can't have bank account or flat or anything if they won't let me live there with my husband! Seems silly and unfair to me

We will never move separately it's out of question and even if we would want to do it financially we could not fo it.

We are forced now to stay in UK and when we will be ready ever then move and apply inland but thought of doing whole process is depressing now and stressful thinking how much money we wasted now as they denied
Seems like only way for us is to move and apply inland But Would hate to move on eta and then be forced to come back as can be on eta only 6 months in Canada is my understanding. Can't afford renting both countries both places for sure....

Crayon7, I'm sorry to hear this. It's really upsetting to hear this news.

As for the processing time, I'm crossing my fingers to see faster movement this year. Last year first quarter applicants were processed quickly enough, reading through their timelines it actually gave me too much false hope.
Now at work I'm in situation where I have to give my employer a 3 month notice before leaving. So I don't even know whether I should do this right now, or later, or maybe should have done that weeks ago.

Sorry I do not know about OHIP. Make sure you order GCMS notes every month so that you can anticipate any issues.

Now, so how do i get round to ordering GCMS notes? I am thinking of ordering them in February (once I'm back to Canada from my trip to Poland) so that it gives them some time to actually have stuff written there (it says on ECAS they started processing on Nov 21st but I can't imagine they've done much between Dec 20th and Jan 4th) so I'm thinking that in February it will have been long enough for them to mention if there are any problems. But, how do I get round to it?

I have got refused.
My husband got notice of appeal.

I cannot tell you enough how sorry I am to hear this, and trust me I do know what you mean when you say you can't move separately.
I've been forth and back between Canada and Belarus about 10 times in the last 3 years, and each time I go there to take care of my house near Toronto and stay there for a few weeks - it feels like eternity being away from family. I don't even wanna think what it would be like if I had to stay there for many months until our application has been processed.
In my view, it is just pathetic that on the one hand they expect couples to prove that their relationship is true and genuine, while on the other they also expect the same couples to be fine with having to live separate and apart for the many months it takes the visa office to finally pick up and look at the file covered in dust. Definitely not something a genuine loving couple would ever do, - is it?
Makes me wonder if this indirectly violates some human rights and warrants a class action lawsuit.

I'm pretty certain an appeal would overturn this decision, because - unlike with the visa office - you or your spouse get to have a say and defend yourself with facts and arguments instead of quietly waiting for months and hoping the officer handling the file to be in good mood. - If that's any consolation, of course.

Glad to hear at least there are some good news from the Warsaw office.
Now that makes me really anxious as our application is only 8 days behind yours.

Ahh, got confused for a split second, but I can see now that your meds were ordered and done just recently in December.
I'm guessing that's the reason your application is being processed after Eva_B's even though it got transferred earlier.
Hopefully, yours will be completed within days

Seems like the Warsaw office if working quickly now. Our status has changed to decision made on Friday so hopefully we will receive a passport request soon.

Won't appeal as we don't have more proof that he would move - we won't move separately just as family which was said and we are in no position to find job and move within 3 weeks now to prove this intention.
We have to stay in UK and not sure will apply again as I found this process. Dry stressful what's more if we had to move there and apply extend eta or visa every month and worry they will send me back no thanks...

Received our GCMS notes by email today (requested Dec 10). - No surprises there, as they're at least 20 days old.
A long note recorded by the officer at CPC-M just before file transfer in August says (among other) that "sponsor's intent to return to Canada to be determined by visa office." That's where Crayon7's application got rejected, unfortunately.
We just have to hope that all the documents showing existing ties in Canada were transferred along with the file. Heard some stories about documents getting lost or discarded by CPC-M before being transferred, and there's no way to check from the notes.
Well, I'm guessing we'll find out pretty soon.
