Just checked ECAS and saw "Decision Made" on the permanent residence portion of the application. ;D
No updates in MyCIC though, so we only have to hope that the decision is positive.

tacitus77, you might wanna check yours in ECAS too, as according to my calculations you must've been ahead of us in the line.

Nothing yet, but are medical is due Jan 18th, 2017, so i hope we will get a decision soon.

If she is already living in Canada you will be fine.

Thanks! I still have to wonder how long it's going to take for them to send out a PPR.
It's been quiet, MyCIC apparently has stale data, and I haven't looked at ECAS since mid-week last week, so the status may have actually changed much earlier than I noticed it.
We'll wait and see.

I received a PPR email. MyCIC hasn't shown any update yet but ECAS says DM.

Wow... now I'm getting really worried, because our file has been in DM status in ECAS for a whole week now, and no PPR yet.

We are planning to send our application soon and it will be processed in Warsaw. Is it a red flag if the application is sent not long after marriage takes place? For a 2 year relationship with lots of proof. If my husband was removed from Canada in the past but his 1 year exclusion order already expired, he explained everything etc, will they most likely still interview him about it? Or interviews are only because there are doubts about the relationship? He spent a few years without status in Canada as a teenager, everything was beyond his control because parents were deciding where he was to live.

Hi bananaoatmeal, and welcome to the forum!
The lots of proof for a 2-year relationship should be sufficient to satisfy that part of their requirements, and I personally don't think that a recent marriage before filing an application would be a concern, provided that the proof is rock-solid and shows evidence of the relationship being genuine.
As for his removal order, I'd guess it shouldn't have much of a negative impact (if at all) if he had only stayed in Canada illegally while being a minor, i.e. with his parents. You'd certainly want to include that explanation with the application.

I don't think so. As long as you have strong proof, you should be fine. I sent mine a few months after marriage took place, a little over 1 year relationship and was approved even without the interview.
