want to go back home to visit.. please help!!

Hi everyone,

I just had a question, i want to visit my family in India and i was wondering if i can go to India and come back to canada on my multiple work visa? right now i'm on PGWP and its expiring in June 2013. I'm applying for PR under CEC in Feb 2013.

I heard a rumour that if you go back home before applying for PR that delays the process of your CEC file. Is it true? and would i face any trouble getting back to Canada once i leave from here since my last application for PR under CEC was rejected??

1. No such animal as a multiple work visa.
2. If you have a valid multiple TRV in your passport then you could return to Canada after your vacation.

You can come back as long as you a hold a valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). Also, I would suggest to carry your original valid PGWP document with you.

I think the OP may be referring to a "multiple entry visa".

@march19... you can go home and return with no problems as long as you have a valid work permit and TRV and continue to meet the conditions of your permit.
