want to file application under 1122 occupation

Dear members,
I want to file the application under occupation list of 1122 but read on internet that there is cap on this category.
Shall i then file the application or not?
If not, what are the chances or other options to apply for Canada immigration.

No you can't file under it as the cap is full. You would have to wait until next July to see if it is that year's Cap. You would have to have an approved offer of employment in Canada or have worked in Canada for 2 years, our you can apply under one of the Provincial Nomination PRograms, if you qualify.
 
As PMM said the cap has already reached. You can apply under this category from 1st of Jul 2011. It would be good to plan in such a way that your application reaches CIO in first week of july it self.

I would not be suprized if 1122 is NOT in the list in 2011.
