Waiting on visitor visa application filed before September

My parents applied for Visitor Visa from India, here's their timeline:

June 9th - Submission of online application & confirmation
June 10th - Request for biometrics
September 24th - Biometrics completed (a bit late due to offices being closed in India)

The application is still in progress for both of them, do we need to submit a web form to know what's going on or should we re-apply again using the new portal?
