Applied to extend my visitor record back in Sept; I don't expect an answer until March or so. Can I leave Canada and re-enter with no problem and with my visitor record extension application still processing? Will it mess anything up?
I am American. Last time I entered Canada (w/my Canadian wife) they suspected I was trying to move here permanently and put us through the ringer at the land border for 2 hours before finally releasing me and letting me into Canada with a 1 month visa/visitor's record. When that was about to expire I applied for an extension.
