Can I continue working in Canada?

My PGWP will expire soon. If I first submitted a WP extension and then a Visitor Record application before the expiry of PGWP, can I continue working in Canada with maintained status? or do I need to stop working because I applied for visitor record?

Basically not eligible, just want to obtain maintained status and work authorization, just like some other people did before. Not sure if this really works, so ask for your help. Thanks a lot.

The new extension is asylum. Become a refugee and stay here forever.

Yes it is possible but expect it to be denied within a few months. The dummy WP extensions are also now a target for IRCC so change could be coming.
