Waiting for PR to arrive while holding a TRV deadline

I got a situation here that needed some advice from your expertise:

My mom just got her TRV extension approved here in Canada, at the same time her immigrant visa application is in the last stage of processing (I assume) since she had already submitted both medical and police certificate last Sept.

My question is how long do we have to wait for them to issue the immigrant visa after submitting the above certificates? Her TRV extension is valid only until Feb. 21, and I am afraid there might be conflict on the schedule with the passport request for immigrant visa issuance.

I wonder if we could be able to request them to change the date on the TRV extension permit or we will need to redo the application and pay another fee?

You can't ask CIC to change the date on a TRV extension. If you wish to extend the date further, you'll need to apply for another extension and pay the fee again as well.
