Waiting for PR card (landed on May 12, 2010)

Is there anyone who has landed around May 12, 2010 and hasn't got PR card yet?

My bf landed on April 21st and we are still waiting for his card. CIC says it was mailed out on June 1st. But it hasn't shown up yet.

@Suzanne, did you call CIC or sent them email to inquire about PR card?

Hi,

when I landed,officer told me it takes about 4 weeks to 8 weeks.

My friend got her Visa end of March, and received her PR card on may 20th.

CIC web says 30 days but seems takes longer than that.

hi all,

what if any1 wants to travel back to home country within couple of days after arrival. is there anyway we can speed up the process by showing them return ticket and proof of purchase at airport to the immigration officer or this option is just for renewals ??

I landed on 8th april and received my card on 10th june....so more than 2 months.

Mine is not yet. It's been about 4 weeks now, but I think I have to wait another few weeks or more

I landed on 6 May and just got my PR card today (23rd June), so so so excited

landed 20th May, no PR card yet but I don't expect it until around the 20th July to be honest.

CIC website says 30 days, the IO at landing said 12 weeks, I am hedging my bets and going with what everyone is saying, that is currently approx 8 weeks to get PR card.

I got my card today.

@angelbrat, I think, you have mistaken, the IO said, it will take 6 to 8 weeks. So no worries, you will get it by the end of 6 weeks atleast.
