Waiting for PR CARD - 2015 / 2016

Landed May 9 2016. Got PR card today (July 14 2016). Card was mailed July 4, 2016

My husband is a PR Holder and he applied my spousal PR from Canada. Well I am from India. The application was received on May 26,2016. When can I get my PR FILE NOS? plz help :'(

Your journey begun in Jan 2014...ours March 2014...we have been advised that hubby PR was mailed on 28th June 2016...Mail came today and in Canada nothing...(cause that is where the card should be sent to) CIC has told us they was sent to the American address..I am heading to the US tomorrow to check the mail...IF it was sent in Canada I cant think of a single place other then Nunavut that it would take 16 days to get..I am thinking we are going to have another long road...

Canada Post indicates 2 days within city, 3 days with Province, and 4 days within Canada.

Since they had the genius idea to have the PR card office in Nova Scotia (a place that likely gets 1% of the PRs that Ontario does) that means they have 4 days of mailing time.

Why they ever say it could take 6 weeks in the mail it beyond me, but that's what they say.

Frankly, they are all idiots, it's such a circus.

Out of interest... Does anything show up on your ECAS about your PR Card?

I think they are trying to distribute government jobs and facilities among the various provinces...

I swear we have the same Case Manager...after being told three different things...after being told PR was mailed on 28JUN2016...Hubby got his PR..at the Canadian address...but if it really was mailed on 28 JUN2016 that means it took 17 days to get from Nova Scotia to British Columbia...and then Canada Post wonders why people don't want to use them....Congrats GustavesF....now go get your drivers licence and Medical card!!!!

I'm curious, in what province is the physical PR card required for getting a driver's license and medical card? In Ontario (and I thought most provinces), only the COPR is needed to do these things, and really the only reason i've seen the need for the physical card is for those needing it to travel...

Crazy...we landed before you, April 29th, 2016, the card was mailed before you 28JUN2016 and we got the card after you...go figure...
