Hi Guys,

I'm posting this as a separate thread to get your valuable suggestions . My status is as below:

App rcvd: 15-Apr-2013
NOC: 2173, CEC
Medical request: 12-Dec-2013
RPRF & Biodata: 13-Dec-2013
Medicals done: 23-Dec-2013
Ecas status changed to 'Decision made' sometime in the wk of 05-Jan-2014.

Since then I'm waiting for PPR email. Haven't heard anything from CIC. I have seen my fellow april applicants receiving PPR within a wk time after Decision made. Mine its already 4th week. Is this wait time normal? Any thing i must try to do? I last wrote to them when i completed my medicals. I doubt they would reply.

Seniors et al,

Please advise if any of you had similar long waiting time for PPR after decision made & did anything differently to get CIC send PPR email?

I saw couple others who are in same boat & have posted for help. But i lead the bunch with above timeline. I'm closing in on a month since ecas changed to decision made!

Not really. I doubt they would respond as I'm still within processing time. But i get your point. Will try emailing them & try my luck. Thanks

PS: I did apply for GCMS notes today, just to see how things are going. Hope i will hear from them before the actual notes! Fingers crossed.

Yeah, send them email just for the case...
You can say that you are afraid that your possible email with passport request came to spam and was deleted afterwards

my status changed a few weeks ago to medicals recieved.
Just before christmas, i recieved a letter stating that "new information" had come, although in my H & C i disclosed my prior convictions. My lawyer thinks that the person doing stage 2 just looked at the medical results and police certificate, adn didnt check the full file where the decidiing officer deemed me rehabilitated.
CIC asked for documents etc about the convictions etc, which were all given with my application

I found out today that nobody from Candada has contacted Irish police (a friend from home knows a cop in Immigration in Ireland)

hopefully things are going to move again, although we havent heard anything since,

Seniors, any other advise?
Just now i got their response as below:
"We apologize about the delay. If you have not heard the final decision yet, you should hear from us shortly.

Thank you for your patience"

I guess i just need to wait. By the by i received their response at 10:46PM! I wonder if they work really that late or its their email system.

No more update from my side. Still waiting for PPR email eagerly.

Are there more people in similar situation; i.e waiting for PPR email since > a month after ecas changed to decision made?

If this helps:
Some folks in FSW category are in same situation, including me. You can check this thread:

Keep this thread alive and updated with your information.

Guys,

Is there anyone who were/are in similar situation (i.e. still waiting for PPR after 8wks since ecas changed to decision made)?

I have ordered notes on feb-2 and should get it soon. But any advise from fellow applicants is much appreciated.

Still no luck. Its been 2 months since my ecas changed to Decision made. No PPR email :(

I applied for atip notes on 02-Feb and even that hasn't come. Their acknowledgement email said 30 cal days which is over. I'm kind of getting bit nervous. I have written to atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca. Let me see what they say.

Just putting it out here to see if anyone been through such situation. I don't think there are many.
