Congrats to All who received their PPR and passport!
I received PPR email at Nov 03 2016, and my passport was delivery to Ottawa at Nov 04 2016.
Anyone have any idea how long it will take to get my passport back? 2 weeks?

Hi Guys. I have got my PR a couple of months ago and did my landing in may and then came back to my home country in a week. My PR card were mailed to the address provided (family member) and my family member brought it to my home country in-person (so nice of him to do that). Now I am confused if I can travel using the PR card or using COPR (I am in US so can travel by land as well)? If I travel using PR card and if the immigration officer cross verify the dates on my passport then wouldn't they question me on how I got my PR card while I was outside canada? Has anyone done something similar? Please advise.

Hi qtie1, have you already received your passport? I sent mine 1 week ago and just wondering how much time they need to process the landing visa.

Hi All,

Sent my passport on 23rd Nov as per tracking it received next day, no tracker activated yet, is it 2 weeks officially now ? Will CIC agents be able to see? cause they didnt even have details of my email received for passport.

PR application approved: Nov 21

Still my return tracker not activated....Called cic multiple times but they are saying the same thing (Its in Queue).
Bit worried as am traveling end of december..

Don't know why its taking soo long

This is agonizing!
My husband's passport arrived at the Bogota embassy on November 8th and they still have it. They won't respond to our e-mails. I don't get why these jerks send the PPR if they're just going to let your passport sit in a pile for weeks on end. It is an essential document! I hope they get in the Christmas spirit and stamp all the waiting passports - it takes minutes!

How do you check if the tracker is activated ?

Now, my return tracker in canadapost.ca shows no result..... when activated... does it just show the packate movement ?
