Hi All,

I have a query,our status online shows Residential and Mailing address. One is mine and another is my Immigration consultant's address.

If I receive my PASSPORT request , I would be sending from my Residential address keeping in my residential address in back envelope as well?

As from my friend I have seen that the mail states to be from Mailing addess.

Will there be a problem if I send directly from my home address and expect them to be mailed back to it?

Or shall I need to send to my Immigration consultant and ask him to send passports and he receives them and sends them back!!!!....Little confused as I am in final stage I wanted to confirm with experienced people here.

I have send it to ottawa whereas my spouse sent it to new delhi yesterday.. Is it true that both passports will be stamped on the same day???

Where are people seeing Visa Issued or App Closed status?? Is it the ECAS status?

Why only one month to land? Is your passport expiring soon?

So why do they say you must land one month? Does it coincide with one year after you did medicals. I think landing should be done within one year after medicals is done.

hi guys, they issued an immigrant visa that will expire in April. I believe it ties to your medical results expiration date (mine will expire in April). My passport will expire in October.

I wonder if that's the case only if you get an immigrant visa - I'm from a visa exempt country and the COPR I got had expiry date some 10 months after medical expiry (and it was issued less than a month before my medicals expired)

If it is true then my medical might have already been expired by 14th Feb 2016. Means, do I need to go for a medicals once again to do the landing.

I did my medical in Feb 5 2015, PPR Feb 3 2016, and today we received the visa stamp and CoPR valid until Dec 2016. I was inland so my understanding is VO will extend your medical validity beyond one year and give you proper time to prepare for landing. Good luck and congrats.

My passports have reached Ottawa for 2 weeks (since 15 Feb), no tracking information yet.
