My passport was delivered to CPP-Ottawa at 2015/01/26 12:09PM (with Prepaid XpressPost), and still waiting ......

Guys... I've mailed my passport to this address:

CPP - Ottawa (e-Application)
PO Box 9640
Ottawa, ON, K1G 6T2

However, I found a lot of folks under this post mailed their passport to CPC - Ottawa.

Anyone can advise me? Please! Thanks in advance

^ Congratulations! You were asked about funds? That's weird! Did they ask you for proof of funds in the bank?

Thanks!
no proof was asked , just to fill out a form .. just gave a rough estimate.

Hi,don't panic. CPP (Case Processing Pilot) is the old name of the office which was renamed to CPC (Case Processing Center). Don't worry delivering people know where to drop your passport even if you've used the old title.

Hi Nov1061,

Thanks a lot for the reply. I was worried about this, and I've sent them an email for clarification, however, no reply yet...

I think you are confusing two types of application. You must have applied for a non-immigrant visa, have you? If so, the address you sent your documents to is correct. The CPC-O addresses below are for the immigrant visas:

Canada Post:
CPC – Ottawa
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

Courier:
CPC – Ottawa
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1

Thanks a lot cincikid, I actually applied for TRV (non-immigrant visa), and it seems that I've sent my passport to the correct address then :-)

I don't have that much but I remember in one of the application forms, I put in my annual salary as my proof of funds. You think this is ok?

Thanks!

I don't think your salary can be used as a proof of funds. CIC only considers funds that you've already accumulated on your accounts.

I dont think this is decider though/ nor any proof was required. if you are already in canada it does not matter i think.

But recent paystubs and certificate of employment are proof that I am employed and there's money coming in.

I think so too! Because with CEC, we are not asked to provide proof of funds. I am just worried that we will not be allowed landing if they found out that I don't have a lot in my bank account. I have less than what is required for FSW.
