Yes you can use carrier to send the passport but for return they only use prepaid canadapost envelope.

Hi , I have sent my passport to Ottawa for Visa stamping on 26th May and delivered on 27th May.
I have also sent express self addressed envelope along with this. Anyone knows how long it takes to get it back.
Canada post tracking is not showing any update on the one i sent in for return to me.

I also got my passport back today with COPR issued on 28th May .Where are you planning to land.What are the documents you are going to carry with you.I am planning to land at Carway border.Any idea about their working hours.?

I landed last night at Coutts, very pleasant landing and nice US and Canadian agents.

CoPR comes in 2 identical Copies, 1 with a photo and this is the CIC copy and the other one without a photo remains with you

Hey buddy did your tracker got activated today. Mine reached ottawa on 26th but tracker is not yet activated

My tracker got activated yesterday June 4, 2014 at 6pm My passport was received on May 27, 2014.
