I am with you on this ,have sent my passport to Ottawa from US and it rchd on 16th sept but can't track it so waiting patiently

I sent the passport to their Laurier street address via Canada Post Xpresspost on Oct 1, but my online status is still showing

Out for delivery

I talked to Canada Post, and they said because the receiver does not receive item individually (what does that mean?), so my package is being put in a bulk for them to pick up, so there is no individual tracking after "Out for delivery" message. WTH?? And now I don't know whether that's a confirmed delivered or what...

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi there,

When you are sending the passport through Xpresspost, you have to mail it to the POBOX address. Xpresspost is delivery method of Canadapost and all canadapost mails are to be sent to that POBOX address. In your case, don't worry. It seems that the person is right and your mail is sitting in a bulk mail or perhaps your passport might be on some officer's desk right now. But Canadapost's tracking system won't confirm that as you sent it to the other address where individual deliveries are not confirmed by canadapost (but definitely by other couriers like UPS or FEDEX...i know thats strange).

Anyways. Just send an email to CIC. Tell them that its showing as still out for delivery and you are concerned if the passport ever reached CIC. tell cic out for delivery date. the time too. Tell your tracking no. Include all your application details. And hopefully someone will respond back.

But dont worry, your passport is already there.

SO finally got the passport back with the CPR. Going to Niagara Falls Next weekend for the Landing.
One of the Most important journey of my life is almost complete and will begin the next chapter as a Permanent Resident.
Finally got , which most people in developing country just dream about or pay thousands of dollars to get it.
Thankful to God and all the AWESOME people in this AWESOME Forum !!!!
I hope I will see you all at the other end of the rainbow soon.
