my ecas status are as follows:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on August 6, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


The ecas changed 3 days after passport request. I don't know if they will still update it ??? how about u?? is ur ecas same as mine???

3.Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

4.We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on June 29, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you.

5.Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 27, 2012.

Check around 7pm. I have seen sometimes tracker gets activated around 630pm

So check again after 7pm.

We made the landing yesterday. Went from Edmonton to Carway and the officer told us that we need to go to USA and then come back to make a landing. So we went to the U.S. immigration office and there received the refugee of entry (as we need but don't have the U.S. visa). With this paper we went back to the Immigration office on the Canadian side and gave our papers to the officer. They asked us to go to the waiting room. In 10 minutes officer came and said that everything is done the only thing that we need to sign one paper. We put our signatures and officer said that in 6 days they will send us the PR cards. And that's all. 6 hours of driving + 10 minutes of waiting and we have a PR status in Canada.

Also they asked some questions like: are there any things that we would like to take from Ukraine to Canada. We have 3 years to do that. Also they asked about our old docs and we gave our work permits. And that's all. They don't ask about additional things or docs.

As I understood he said that the card will be sent to us in 6 days so we should get it next week. I'll write here when that would happen. But with the paper that he gave us we can go now to the Service Canada to ask for a new SIN that won't begin with '9' ))))

Wow...they are sending PR cards just in 6 Days in Alberta!!! So that 70 days timeline is just for Ontario? Really? I thought its throughout Canada.
