I am new to Canada and not always remember that here there are different times. So when My tracking number activated at 17 49 and on my watch it was 16 05 I didn't understand what's happening. Thought that Canadian post is joking)))))

I just hoped Bohdana to get Landing done in Airport, as me too had an International Airport at around a 30 minutes drive distance. But now that's a false hope.

There is another option of obtaining your PR status while residing in Canada: make an appointment at nearest CIC office via call centre.

You can do that in the airoport if you buy tickets to foreign country and use them)))) and if you are alone that would probably cost you less than go to the border. Besides you can have a good vacation))) but I can not fly now so the only option is to go to the border. I'll provide here my experience of landing. Hope to have it tomorrow))))

I will check with the border officer to see if it is really required to correct this date or if he is able to do it on his end when I am landing...

my ecas status are as follows:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on August 6, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


The ecas changed 3 days after passport request. I don't know if they will still update it ??? how about u?? is ur ecas same as mine???
