hey, Ottawa received my passports on 10th of September. my tracker is not active yet

keeping my fingers crossed for next week.

I don't think landing can be done at the airport because I know someone who wanted to do the landing at the airport (not alberta) and they were told that they have to leave the country or book an appointment with the immigration officer. But hey maybe other provinces are different?

I got passport request and I am in USA. can you please let me knoe if I can send USPS xpress envelope for passprt return. I know as part of the request it is only for with in Canada only otherwise it is only regular mail.

1. Engage a lawyer.
2. File a police case [based on lawyer's advise]
3. Apply for a New passport.
4. Notify CIC about your case history and this new passport-(they should acknowledge this before you send your passport again)
5. Send your new passport for stamping .

Thanks for the advise, PR2012. We will wait for another week before approaching an immigration lawyer.

So we are in the airoport and immigration officer said that we need phisically reener Canada. That mean that we need to buy tickets fir a flight or go to the border. So this weekend we will spend on trip tp USA border.

I feel sorry for you.. Dont loose hope, you should get it, try sending email to CPP ottawa - with alarming subject so they can check, if you know anyone living close to ottawa give them Authorization letter and have them go there in person and check the status , if nothing seems to work then think as you needed a fresh passport and start with it. you are going thru a challenging time but you ll come out positive and stronger! .. hard times never last !! .
