Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

Hi
My tracker got activated today at 3pm PST. The status says 'Item processed', but no delivery date. Hopefully I should get it by Monday/Tuesday. I live in Surrey,BC
Passport requested date - 4th Nov
Passport sent to Ottawa- 15th Nov (had to wait for CIC's email to allow my spouse/kid's passport to be accepted in NewDelhi and I got the email on 15th Nov)
Passport reached Ottawa- 19th Nov (Signed by Mr.Pilon)
Return tracker activated - 5th Dec (3pm PST)

I just received my passport with visa and Copr - evrything looks good... I just have a question regarding the visa expiry date...
its written as 05/09/2015 in passport and 2015/09/05 on copr
Initially, I thought it meant 9th may 2015 as is read in USA... but now I am thinking it shud be 5th sep 2015 (my medical was in Sep 2014 btw)... I plan to delay my landing till the last week of expiry as I don't intend to move to canada rt away.. so can folks help me in understanding which one is the correct interpretation of the date?

I am a March month's applicant. My passport was received by CIC on Nov17 and return tracker was activated on Dec 5, 5.40pm EST. I will get my passport on Monday.
