Waiting after Background Check went in progress!

I asked the embassy of Canada in Mexico about my BG check and they answered this:

"Please note that results were sent to the IRCC office processing your application on 23/01/2019."


lIt's been over a month almost that was sent to IRCC offices and still I haven't heard anything from CIC :(
My processing time for the whole PR process ends in 40 natural days... so I'm starting to think that this will take longer than the 6 months ...

Hopefully we all have answers quickly, it's very frustrating.
 
Anybody submitted their PR documents in last quarter of 2018 and have received request for passport submision..?

Nope. I received AOR on Nov 7th but still background check status is showing as "We are processing your background check. We will send you message if we need more information." The status is same for almost 3 months now. Bit worried now. When did u submit your documents?

Even i submitted mine on oct 16th and still waiting for Ppr !!

I submitted mine in the 2nd quarter quarter of 2018 and still waiting

Eligibility is passed
Criminality is passed
Medical passed
Info sharing complete .
Security is what's delaying my application now. In the last gcms note I requested for, under activities, the first 4 entries were security related and blank. The 5th entry was also security related but with some info. My security check commenced in August I think cos in my gcms notes, under organization and fees, I noticed that my info was send to an organization with acronym CB... I'm guessing that's CBSA.
My file is being processed at IRCC Calgary though and I've heard that those guys can be slow

I think you should have this completed in a month or 2...

Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate. I've requested for CBSA and CSIS notes. They should be in by next. With those two, I should get a clearer picture on what's been done and all that.
