only thing you can do is apply for GCMS notes and check the progress of your application. My guess is your application is under background check which might take a while.

How will I receive notification for PPR?

Thanks.

Thank you, I didn't know about GCMS. Have you applied for it? How long does it take to get the information? Does it show all history?

Got BG in IP on 25th April - VO is NDVO which has a trend of giving out PPRs soon after. Checked with CIC call centre and they say all background checks are complete and file is waiting for final review from Visa officer. Any idea which will I get my PPR?

I am an Inland Applicant and my BG has gone from 'In Progress' to 'Not Needed' and after that nothing. From what I have read my application (if all goes well) may go back to 'In Progress' at some stage.

I'm not 100% sure on this though, but at least as an Outland Applicant yours will be processed quickly. From what I have seen, Inland Applicants take at least (and sometimes longer) than 6 months.

Mine today was coming from Not Needed at this time to Not Applicable. I am CEC inland applicant. Little bit concern as the other fields are still in review of process. My AOR - 25th May

I m a pnp-outland applicant
file currently at Vienna VO
Aor Dec 31
BGC IP since Mar 22
anyone with similar timeline please share

YEs. PPR is next in line. But this is the second time your BGC went in progress? If not, then the BGC will go IP then NA and then IP, this is the actual BGC.

The GCMS notes will take 30-45 days.

see https://goo.gl/6C1RMI for details on what is GCMS and how to apply.

Hello Legalfalcon,

Just called CIC. AOR 28th January , PNP Inland.

Nothing much done with my application so far in 144 days from AOR. Very frustrating.

Eligibility - recommended pass
Criminality - in progress
Security - Not started

My timeline
AOR - 28th January
Medical - 10th April
IP1 10th april
ADR - child's birth certificate 3rd may
document submitted - 9th may
Nothing after 3rd may from CIC
IP1 still in progress.

She gave tentative date for finalization of my application as first week of November.

Do you think they will finalize my application in November?

Do you think it still can be finalized in 6 months?

I think security itself will take couple of months?

Also, as we have seen as per GCMS notes, criminality get passed at CIO. Why criminality is still under progress? I think it should be passed by now.

Do you think when my file will be reviewed again criminality and eligibility will be passed at same time?

Do you think eligibility wouldn't be recommended passed if criminality is not passed?

Do you think additional document request slows down speed of your application? In my case after 3rd May nothing happened.

Regards

BGC is a long process and taken time.

See my post on what happens in a BGC - https://goo.gl/7wQ5CT

Dear XXXX,

Could you suggest what this means... Is it that my PPR is on its way????
