Hello Bryanna,

I haver tried to link my sister's paper application to my cic account but it says it can't find application.
I tried 5 times so I will try tomorrow.

They have submitted their file to VFS on Thursday and VFS tracking status says that application has been processed via Bangalore visa office.

What to do to link an application ? i have entered all information.....I have selected temporary residence visa and entered last name, first name, DOB, Passport Info, Place of birth, Country, Dates to visit Canada and available fund.

I am sure I have entered all correct information....Still no luck !!

Please advise !!!

Hi Raj,

Their applications must have reached the Bangalore visa office on Friday. Maybe the initial processing has not yet started.

Not sure if this will work, but you can try it:
You can put one space in place of birth. Do not enter the actual place of birth. Maybe it will find a matching application to link

Where XXXX is town name, YYYY is district, ZZZZ is province/state

I have tried earlier this morning with XXXX YYY ZZZZ and Only XXXXX !!!

Still no luck !!!!

What I meant is to enter one blank space for the place of birth fields. Maybe it will work. Otherwise you'll have to wait for a couple of days more (in case the initial processing hasn't started as yet)

No need to purchase air ticket !!

Just make day by day itinerary with tourist place visit, which should be fine.

i am a canadian PR but living in middle east....i will move permenantly in 2018, how ever my wife plans to move in few months....and we want our mother in law to accompany her who is in india.....on a TRV...

do we need to be physically present in canada to apply for her TRV?

or can she just do it on her own without us sponsioring her...and what all docs are needed from us? like bank statemnets? or job salary slips?

"space" in place of birth worked to find my wife's sponsorship application.

I tired today with space in place of birth but no luck to find my sister's paper visitor visa application to link it online in mycic account.

What to do ? They have dropped their application to VFS on Feb 2 2017

If the "space" worked for your wife's application then it works!

I guess the visa office has not started the initial processing. Maybe that's why it's not showing up.

I suggest you check/recheck all the data you enter when you try to link it again. Maybe you're making a small mistake. BTW is it the same situation for your brother-in-law's app also?
