We did follow up and got the gcms notes as well. There is no progress in SOWP visa.

I recently got my wp extended for another two years.
Surely will apply again for visitor visa as sowp is taking so much time. But worried about the rejections.

All you can do is submit but they will look at ties to home country, travel, funds etc.

Thanks for the advice. One last question is 10000CAD is enough bank balance to show? Anyways she doesn't have any travel history.

Taking out airfare, health insurance etc., it is enough for a few weeks visit.

Yes, I'm a temporary worker. She will be having 1.5L bank balance, 1.2L of recurring deposit and a registration document of a plot. There is no travel history nor job. She is just a house wife and her spousal work permit is in progress for last 11 months. So we have applied for visitor application to reunite with the family. Is it going to work?

Your TRV was partially refused because she should be applying for an OWP not a TRV since she wants to live in Canada not visit.


Would call or email IRCC to look at the status of her OWP. When did she do biometrics?
