Also for the pdf , I used the professional version of Adobe (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC) , it has a very good function of "Optimize PDF" to reduce the pdf size after you have created one , it helped me a lot .Reduced the size of the pdf by almost half every time I used it without much quality reduction.

I just want to share that my wife was also granted visitor visa (multiple entry) back in May 2014.

In summary, after a long distance Relationship from 2010 we married back in DEC 2013 in Venezuela.

She applied for a TRV in May 2014. she was living in Venezuela, I was in canada. I'm a canadian Citizen.

We showed proof of our relationship, and ties to her home country, finantial status for both and that she will not overstay, we stated in the TRV application that our intent was to apply for Spousal Sponsorship Outland.

We ended up applying Inland, she arrived to canada in Aug 2014, we sumbitted our Inland PR app with OWP in Feb 2015 (took us about 5 months due to lazyness mostly ), and as you can see in my signature everything has worked out for us.

didnt use lawers just reading in this forum and thanks to everyone for their help.

Apply under Super visa. success rate is much higher in super visa for parents and grandparents.

If you are planning for visitors visa (not super visa) then dont apply for more than 3 months.

We submitted all the documents via online visitors visa application. For medical reports we submitted the ones we had got for PR. The medicals were done just 3 months ago in Jan 2016.

But we just now got an email from CIC saying we need to do the tests again. Fine, no problem we will re-do the tests.

So we took the form CIC sent us and went to the medical center. But the medical center is saying they will not do the tests again since it has already been sent !!!

The visitor visa is stuck because of this one issue !!!!

Anybody else have this problem? Please help!

You had your medicals down already. However, the medical you did for spousal sponsorship is excessive demand exempt. CIC asked you to redo the medical because the medical for TRV is not excessive demand exempt. You need to explain that to the panel physician.

I see. But the medical personnel did not redo the test saying that in the past CIC has criticized them for redoing tests. Instead they just resent the previously done medicals with the IME #. But they still took Rs4,000 for just resending the previous information. Bugg3rs!

Now i wonder if this would be acceptable by CIC or would we need to do something else?

I had the same situation like yours, hospital refused to do another test as last one was done 4 months ago.....when we said that the TRV test is for NON EDE and spousal was for EDE, then they agreed. Its basically the same test plus IMM 1017 form....

Congrats , I have just applied spouse application for my husband. I want to apply his visitors visa. But he had a study visa refusal . Do you think it will impact visitors visa? Also if you can share format of invitation and cover letter at daisymathew789@gmail.com, I would highly appreciate that.
