One quick question - if the main applicant lives in Mumbai and applied online, then which office the application is routed ( newdelhi, Bangalore o Chandigarh ?)
Also the time taken to process the application is counted as calendar days or business days ??

It is calendar days, Applications are processed in various CVAC,

I was told that all the online applications go to Delhi..

Hope that's the case coz processing times of Delhi is less compared to the other two :P

I would avoid mentioning anything about inland PR sponsorship in letter for TRV. You are giving CIC reasons to deny TRV. TRV is meant to visit Canada and leave. By mentioning inland sponsorship, you are telling CIC that your spouse will NOT LEAVE Canada after spouse enters Canada.

The one of the rules of inland PR is that the applicant remain inside Canada until landing as PR. In other words, NEVER LEAVE Canada. TRV implies that you MUST LEAVE Canada at 6 month max stay. So what's the point of giving TRV if spouse cannot leave Canada once inland PR is submitted.

When applying for TRV, you have to convince CIC that you will leave Canada. By mentioning inland PR sponsorship, I think you will pretty much kill your chances.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My wife got 1 yr multiple entry visa. Yes i blocked ticket and showed it as proff. All similar documents like pr mainly a vacation approval letter if your spouse is working. I m a dec applicant in ndvo..

I am applying for visitor visa for my wife. She is working full-time and is expecting to get time off to visit Canada. However, there is no policy at her employer to write this on an official letterhead when a time-off is approved. She was given an official letter with salary, position and join date.

Do you guys recommend providing printout of email communication showing leave approval or having it on an official letterhead is a must?

Thanks

Hello everyone

In online application do we need to notarized invitation letter and other supporting documents????

@jsingh89 Thanks alot for sharing your letter. My wife and I applied for her Visa and after using your format and adding my own twist with alot of proof, she got approved in 2 days. I will be seeing her shortly, her passport is being sent back. :) :D ;D.

Hello,

My spouse is planning to sponsor me to become a resident of Canada. As I am currently in France so will be needing a PCC from here too.
On the cic official site, I see :
1. For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

2. For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

I do not understand the second point clearly. As I am currently in France and will be filing an application after getting back to India, how can I get the PCC from France after the last time I visited this country ?

Also, it would be very helpful if you can let me know the validity of PCC, because if I collect the PCC now before I return to India, will it be treated as valid or void ?

TIA ! :)

Hey guys, I had tried twice applying online for TRV and got rejected. That was before applying for my wife's sponsorship for PR.

What do you suggest, should I apply for her now and she doesn't have any travel history too?

Please guide me guys.
