Visitor Visa Cairo office - 2 months and no updates at all

Hello,

I'm a permanent resident of n Canada and my mother applied for Visitor visa online to come visit me and my family here.

its in cairo office and from what they say the time line is 33 days and now its 61 days and no updates at all since she did her biometrics

she keep getting email updates from cic but when she open her cic account there's no updates and her status says open.

she tried to call Cairo office they said we have no updates we know nothing it's all in Canada not here.

anybody know who to contact or what to do ?
