We are family and right now in Canada at asylum status. We are waiting for interview. It will not be soon. What are our options and chances for parents to visit me in Canada. I am seriously ill and looking for them a way they can come and visit me ASAP.
Please note both parents are seniors, live in Russia and they have other adult kid who lives in USA with PR. It means they must obtain visa.
Please help.
Thank you

Yes, they will need TRVs to come to Canada. They will need to be able to prove ties to their home country and sufficient funds to support the trip. The status of their children in the US is irrelevant. With your status as refugees claimants, expect their chances of being approved for a TRV to be extremely low.

Thank you for your clear reply.
Regarding the health situation and letter from hospital does't raise their chances and sponsor ship that adult kid from US can provide?
Please let me know what you think. I know that in other countries this kind of visa called emergency visa and can be given only to very close relatives.
Thank you in advance

No, it doesn't raise their chances. There is an extremely low chance of approval because of your asylum status. The fact that you are ill lowers their chances even more because it is just another reason for them to stay. Canada doesn't have an emergency visa.

Thank you very much for so clear response.
Is there option to obtain travel visa like B1/B2 in US without any connection to me in Canada?
May it raise their chances if they apply for traveling visa from US?
Please let me know what you think and thank you in advance

No, applying from the US does not raise their chances.
