Visiting Canada for a funeral

My family member is being invited to her mother’s cousin funeral (her 2nd cousin), she has the death certificate and the funeral is in two weeks, applying from Jamaica to Canada, will she need to process her application online or can she go directly to the embassy?
What other documents would she need?

She needs to submit the application online.

She should include documents such as proof of funds to show that she can pay for her trip to Canada, the death certificate and also documents to show proof of ties to the home country (e.g. job, property, assets).
