You must apply from scratch like the previous application:
A short visit + financial support from you/your husband + the previous visit to Canada will help
You won't be applying for a TRV because it is still valid. You will be applying for a new TRV for your son.
It would help if you include evidence to show that you/your husband have compelling reasons to return to your home country after the short visit + you have adequate funds for the new visit (for yourself and your son) + you/your son had previously visited for a short stay = Your son must return to the home country with you
