Hello,

I applied for visitor visa for my parents in March. My Mom's application was approved in 2 weeks and passport has been stamped. My Dad's application is still showing in progress. What can I do in this case? Is there a way to get an update on my Dad's application? Would you rather suggest to just wait at this time?
PS - Both parents had prior visit visa but expired due to passport expiry. They have visited Canada once in 2023 for 2 months.

Was he in the military? What country applied from? He can raise a webform if past processing times.

Applied from India. He was not in military. His status is same as in 2022 when the current visitor visa was granted (which is expiring due to passport validity)

Did you track the status using tracker?
The application was submitted by a consultant so I havent been able to access it. He says there is no update yet. Wonder how long it will take considering both parent's application was submitted together and one was approved 2 months back

They are still processed individually. One seems to have gone through mostly AI processing while other appears to be going through manual processing. Not sure why but have seen it before. This is normal processing time for manual processing so would probably be patient for at least a month.
