Hi

I am in Canada, my spouse and kid are in India

I got my PPR on 4th Nov. sent a request to CPC-CTD-Ottawa for change in visa office for my spouse and kid. No response so far. Please let me know if anyone gets a response during this week with the similar time line.

I got a response from cic today, for my email, sent on Oct 24, requesting for visa office change.

Usually its about 2-4 weeks.

But there have been cases where it had taken much longer.

I received an email from delhi,they have asked my wife to send the passport to delhi for visa stamping ,email sent on Nov 1st ,a reminder on 4th and got reply today
But they have not mentioned my wife name in anyplace ,stamping is actually for my wife.,is that normal ??

I got the reply from CIC for VO change to New delhi. Below are the timelines

- received PPR on 4th Nov
- sent VO change request for spouse/kid on 5th Nov
- received reply from CIC about the change in VO for spouse/kid on 15th Nov

The email doesnt say my wife/kid's name anywhere, but the very first line of the email says 'For Dependants'

Email sent for Requesting VO change on 6th Nov..

Send urs to ottawa with a explanation letter,and send ur wifes and kids to ur home country with a explanation letter,saying ur husband passport is been sent to ottawa,that's what I did for mine,
Check the subject of the email u received ,should be saying FOR SPOUSE
