Did you sent reminder to CIC?. If yes did mentioned words like reminding xxx no of times or like send mail on So & SO date.

Two days back I have sent an reminder.. In subject line i have mentioned 'Urgent - reminder' like that.. In body I have mentioned all the details like so& so date I send vo request and all the details..

Hello seniors,

Since last 6 weeks I sent mail to change visa office but still not got the reply

so wat could be the possible reasons for the delay?
Also, wat should I do next if they dont sent the reply back? I already sent reminders

I heard that in most cases you get the response back in two days time incase the request is about the visa office change. In mycase i received response in less than 24 hours.

Did you get an auto email when you sent it last time ?

Just try and send another email as a follow-up and see.

Not sure if the time they take varies depending on the Visa office that you are requesting your visa stamping to be done at.

It will be an email sent from Ottawa , with the details of requirements (i.e photos) and the new Visa Office

Just sharing an update:

Emailed them on 25th July, then a reminder sent on 1st Aug.
16 days no response!
Anybody who have emailed Ottawa on this date>

I received reply from CIC for VO change mail confirmation on August 1st..

I took 34 days for the response..

My passport with Australia CIC for stamping, hopefully I'll get it soon..

Passport StatusVisa application, tracking ID No.************has been received by the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 23/07/2014 and its under process...


I got the stamp for me but waiting for my spouse last three and half months for visa stamp and VO change...

Difference in text and hyperlink of the mail-id provided for change in visa office.

text of the mail id is - CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca ; but the hyperlink provided is - OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca ( seems like this is the old mail id used for VO change and CIC updated the mail id text but forgot to update the hyperlink in their mail template )

When sending the VO change mail, i clicked on the mail ID <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca> and it send the mail to < OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca >. i don’t validate the mail-id while sending the mail

After 25 days i realized the issue, and send the mail to correct mail id <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca>. Its more than 10 days now, no response.

Please suggest what can be done now.

Dont worry many people like me r sailing in same boat....i used both addresses and sent mail on july 17th and 2 more reminders till now....no update at all.....

yeah buddy i got passport request on 4th may and get my passport back on 29th may....but my spouse waiting from that time .....
