Hello..

I have immigrated from Dubai and my parents live in Pakistan. I am expecting and I want to call my parents on my delivery as it will csection and I am all alone with small kids. I wanted to ask would it be approriate to get my doctors note on the visa application or should I apply without reason? What are the chances in both cases?

Kindly suggest me a way out.

No you shouldn’t mention the pregnancy. Your parents ability to visit Canada will be dependent on their savings, ties to Pakistan and their travel history. Depending on how long your family has been in Canada and meeting LICO with NOA a supervisa may also be an option. You should post in the visitor section. Assume your husband is around to help as well. Canada does offer paternity leave. That could be an option for 4-6 weeks.
