Visa filing for Sept 2019.

Hey all I have an admit for the Full Time MBA program beginning Fall 2019 at the University of Alberta,

I applied for my Visa SDS online on 2nd April.
Submitted my biometrics at VFS Delhi on 8th April
Recieved Student Acknowledgement Letter on 16th April
Post the Student Acknowledgement Letter there have been no updates.

Could anyone let me know when can I expect a decision? Most people on this forum have gotten a decision within 15 days and I am a bit worried.

Don't worry! There are people who are still waiting for update when applied in March. So I can say mostly 4 weeks

Do I need to get an unconditional offer letter to apply for visa or will conditional offer letter work ??

Hello Everone,
I have a question. I applied in University of Calgary in MSCS for fall 2019 and have got admission. Now i want to apply for visa. I will be showing 12-15 lakh statement from my father bank account.
I have been fully funded from the university. I have got 29000 CAD and 27000 CAD for first and second year respectively.
I want to know what are my chances of getting a visa. I have 14000 CAD per year fee. Is the funding provided to me sufficient to grant me a visa.

Visa officer will not only check your funds.. they will going to check your whole profile.. have you applied under sds??

My case was same.. my father 14 lakh statement... And my fees is 14,650CAD.. per year.. I got the visa.. within 7 days so don't worry.. hope for the best
