Visa Extension after study permit extension

hi,, I got my study permit extension , but my visa as student in Canada is going to end on 17th December. I wana know if I need to extend my visa to stay in Canada. If yes, then what is the procedure ?

You don't need a valid TRV to remain in Canada but you should apply for a new one just in case you need to leave.
