Hi Faisal, How did IRCC re-activated your wife Visa? Did you made a request via Web Form or any sort of lawyer you used? I am in the same situation for my parents, but everyone is saying you have to re-apply, they are never going to re-activate there visa back.
I wanted know, whether they automatically re-activate after the medical passed or what extra step you did or your side for them to take action and re-activation?

We need more information about what your parents were applying for and at what stage their TRV was cancelled. What is your status in Canada and how did you obtain PR? What is their citizenship?

They applied for PR under PGP and during 1st medical due to abnormal chest x-ray, IRCC asked for sputum culture test and same time they deactivated existing TRV in Feb 2025. Now after 4 months medical passed (no TB, they did repeat x-ray, CT scan all). Now since medical shows passed in GCKey, I am wondering whether they are going to re-activate TRV back or we have re-apply a new, because PR process might a long time from here. Indian citizenship they have.

IRCC should reactivate the TRV since it was only essentially put on hold given the abnormal chest x-ray as a precaution because Canada doesn’t want people traveling to Canada if they have TB. Not relevant for your case but in general Canada wants people to get treated for communicable diseases in their home country (or have them stabilized in the case of HIV) before coming to Canada.

Thanks for your reply. I also submitted a webform and still waiting for there respond. Same time I was thinking to apply a new one, just in case if they didn't re-activate. Anyway, I think maybe I should wait for 1-2 weeks and see if they respond. Thanks again for your respond.

IMO you need to apply for a new TRV.
