Got so excited to hear people got movement so I checked our status and it has changed to "in progress!" Hope with fingers crossed soon we will get request for passport!
My fiancé has a flight for Septemer anyways planning on coming as a visitor but if he could come with visa already I'll be over the moon!!
We applied in Feb 5th and got SA 24 april

Are you sure it's still a visa exempt country? The rules have changed as of Aug 1st, most countries now need a visa! My fiancé is Hungarian and they didn't use to need a visa but now as the rules have changed they do.

I am hungarian citizen in canada with out visa, just came back from us yesterday with out visa in canada again, but like a0 said it will be same like esta for us from march 2016.

Yes the ETA, ah ok so it doesn't start until March 2016?
My fiancé is coming to Canada in September but if he doesn't get all this finalized by then (which I think is pushing it) he still is fine just to come with his passport and nothing else?

We mailed app/they received on February 11th 2015
On April 8th 2015 my hubby got email :
This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2015/02/11 on behalf of the following member(s):

Then on April 15th 2015 :
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in Vienna for further processing.

On web status check for permanent resident, since like April 25th is Application Recieved - click on that:
1. We received your app for perm resident on February 11 2015
2. Medical results have been Recieved.
So what should be next ? I know status should go to Inprogres ect , but will we Recieve email like we received on April 8th that then got our app in Vienna ? Or our status on web mean that they are received app in Vienna ? Thanks to everyone

You will not receive an email advising that the application has arrived in Vienna. I'm sure it's already there and, judging by how other applications have been progressing, your application should be finalized in less than a month.

Did you serv army ? I didn't and I don't know if I suppose to somehow prove that ?
