My wife received a passport request!

I'm so happy but I'm also going nuts trying to figure out if we are allowed to go to Vienna to pick up the visa as that was not offered in the document.

I would call VAC in Sarajevo to ask them(I assume that's the office they referred you to, is it), or email Vienna and ask whether you can do "same day" service in Vienna.

R u sure that same day service is not offered???
at the bottom of the attachment it says if you would like same day service to come to vienna during their working hours which are listed on their website
Its the second last thing on the attachment we got. Im sure everyone is allowed to go there in person and get it done same day.

Congrats Adi, that's great and it was a fast process. Don't worry about e-cas, ours was showing in process 5 days after my hubby went to get the visa.

My husband got the visas stamped in the passports this morning in Vienna, received the COPRs and the family photos.

Unbelievable, after 26 months of waiting, it is unreal!!

We booked our flights to Vancouver and by Sunday night we should be at our home, sweet home!

Hahaha, yeah, we've been living out of suitcase for the past 5 months, since the November interview.
You should have seen me yesterday frantically booking the flights for the weekend.
As for 26 months, I have to tell you what my funny husband told the lady at the Visa Office when she returned the envelope with the family photos. "Are you seriously returning these to us, that's not fair, look how much younger we look in those photos???" OMG, I couldn't stop laughing. I can only imagine her reaction, I don't think she ever expected to hear something like that. Hahahahahah

I looked at it again and it's definitely not there.

Not sure if this has something to do with applicants from Bosnia but Strahilo's wife also got the same 2 options (IOM or DLH/FEDEX)

I planned on going to see my wife for 1. May anyways so this is perfect timing and I really want this visa in her passport asap!

Congrats to all who got the same this week or any other requests ... I guess it only takes 1-2 mnts to process since the only opened out application on feb 24th!!!!!
